Counselling centred on your needs and experiences.
A compassionate and collaborative space to develop awareness, explore patterns, and move toward a life guided by your values.
Who I work with
I have worked with clients ranging from young children to elders. My practice welcomes children, preteens, teenagers, adults, and adults aged 65 and older.
Counselling is available for individuals and couples, as well as groups when group services are being offered.
I aim to provide a culturally sensitive and affirming space for people from diverse backgrounds, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, and non-binary clients, Indigenous Peoples, people of mixed-race backgrounds, and single parents.

- Coping skills
- Emotional regulation
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions
- Mild to moderate depression
- Mood-related concerns
- Parenting
- Relationship concerns
- Spirituality
- Thinking-related concerns
- Trauma and PTSD
My approach
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and adapted to each client. I consider your experiences, culture, strengths, preferences, and goals when determining how we work together.
I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I also incorporate mindfulness and body-based approaches, with trauma-focused training guiding a process of compassionate inquiry.
Our work may also be informed by attachment-based, compassion-focused, culturally sensitive, emotionally focused, humanistic, integrative, person-centred, psychodynamic, strength-based, and trauma-focused approaches, as well as the Gottman Method.
Living with intention
Life can become focused on reaching somewhere or escaping something. When fear and survival responses take over, it can become difficult to remain connected with our values and sense of self.
Counselling can provide space to slow down, allow your body to rest, and begin putting down burdens you have carried for a long time.
As we become aware of learned patterns and conditioning, we can begin tending to old wounds with care rather than avoidance or judgment. This awareness can create more room for choice, perspective, and intentional change.
We can also become absorbed in the roles of parent, partner, employee, sibling, or caregiver. Counselling offers a place to reconnect with the person beneath those roles and consider what feels aligned with your values.
Nature reminds us of rhythm, change, and impermanence. Together, we can explore how to meet change while remaining grounded in your values, body, and inner experience.
